Our funder and partner- Rainforest Trust through the Asia and Pacific Conservation Officer Felicia Spector has conducted site visits and monitoring of our project in the ancestral lands of San Luis with the Dumagat and Alta indigenous communities last June 28-July 01, 2019. Assisted by our Conservation Fellows Mark Raquino and Marilyn dela Torre, Felicia flew from the United States to personally talk to our forest guards and partner agencies- DENR and NCIP. She also visited project sites in Brgy. Dibut and Diteki. The monitoring visit aimed to discuss with our partners our progress with the project, challenges and future directions and partnerships with the Rainforest Trust. Currently, there are 70+ projects being supported by the Rainforest Trust in Latin America, Africa and Asia and the Pacific. We are one of the 3 project partners in the Philippines.
